1/2 Garlic Cheese Toast

- PLATE: Tray
- HOLD TIME: to order
- QUALITY INDICATOR: Cheese should be evenly spread & melted.
- Procedure
Wash/sanitize hands. Thoroughly clean/sanitize food utensils, equipment & work surfaces.
- 1. Spread garlic butter over the bun and place buttered side down onto the flat top, toast 3 - 4 minutes, or until golden brown. (CCP3)
- 2. Remove bun from flat top and place onto a baking sheet. Spread shredded marble cheese evenly over the toasted surface and place into a 350°F oven, until cheese is melted and bubbling. (CCP3)
- 3. Remove from oven and cut on a cutting board lengthwise tip to tip to create 2 long points. (Refer to picture)
- 4. Place the cheese toast crossed over each other with the points of the bread up. (Refer to picture)
- 5. Ensure the rim of the plate is clean & serve immediately.
- IMPORTANT NOTE:
- If guest adds bacon, ensure a rough 1/4" chop & sprinkle evenly over the top after it comes out of the oven. Ensure bacon is already heated and crisp.
